By using 2to.uk - creating a short link, with or without an account - you agree to these terms. They're kept short on purpose; if anything here is unclear, ask at terms@lightmorphic.com.
The service
2to.uk turns a long URL into a short one that redirects to it. It's free, with no paid tiers. A customer account lets you manage up to 50 links, see click counts, and turn on two-factor authentication. The homepage's "Try it yourself" tool works without an account, but any link it creates is deleted automatically 30 minutes after creation.
Acceptable use
You may not use 2to.uk to create a link that points to content that is illegal, that facilitates phishing, malware distribution, or fraud, or that infringes someone else's rights. Destinations are checked against a public malicious-URL feed and an admin-maintained blocklist before a link is created; we may also remove a link afterward if it's later found to violate this.
You're responsible for the destinations you link to. We don't review the content of every destination in advance, and creating a link doesn't mean we've endorsed or verified what it points to.
Your account
- You're responsible for keeping your password (and, if enabled, your two-factor recovery codes) safe. We can't recover a lost password or a lost authenticator for you beyond what the account-recovery tools on the site itself provide.
- You may delete your account at any time. This is immediate and permanent - every link you created is released back into the shared pool, and there is no way to undo it.
- We may suspend or delete an account, or a specific link, that violates the acceptable-use section above.
No warranty
2to.uk is provided free, as-is. We aim for links to redirect quickly and reliably, but we don't guarantee the service will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted, and we're not liable for losses arising from downtime, a deleted link, or a destination that's changed or gone offline after you linked to it.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continuing to use 2to.uk after a change means you accept the updated terms.
